In reviewing recovery collars for dogs, Dogster highlighted something that has always been at the heart of The Comfy Cone: helping pets stay protected while making recovery as comfortable as possible.
Unlike a traditional rigid plastic cone, The Comfy Cone is made with soft, foam-backed padded nylon and is designed to flex as pets move through their normal routines. That means a recovering dog can rest, sleep and navigate around the house without a hard plastic cone constantly bumping into furniture—or their humans.
Dogster also recognized the versatility of the design. The Comfy Cone can be adjusted to provide more or less structure depending on a pet’s recovery needs.
Designed to Make Recovery a Little Easier
Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all, which is why we built so many adjustable features into The Comfy Cone.
The removable plastic stays can provide additional structure when it is needed. When appropriate, the stays can also be removed so the cone can be folded back, giving pets more freedom while eating and drinking.
Elastic loops at the neck allow a pet’s regular collar to be threaded through for a more secure fit, while the adjustable hook-and-loop closures help pet parents find the right fit around the neck.
And proper sizing matters. The Comfy Cone should extend from your pet’s neck past the end of their snout so they cannot reach the area that needs protection.
